John J Higgins is an author and attorney.  He began writing his  bestselling series The Archangel Jarahmael and the War to Conquer Heaven about the Archangels and the War in Heaven shortly after he retired as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey. As a statewide prosecutor he handled some of the highest profile cases in his State, including homicides and a serial killer.  In addition, he wrote reports and legislation on the forefront of the substance abuse, juvenile justice and bias crime fields.  Further, he helped create and produce anti-drug abuse PSA's featuring celebrities as well as public awareness campaigns on the State and Federal level.  He also emceed and produced a theatrical performance developed by inner city high school students to combat the growth of bias crimes among youth and was  performed before over 170,000 students in New Jersey and Toronto Canada.
